Why We Built These Tools
We've built enough climbing gyms to know what people need to get started. So, this gives you a framework to start from and real numbers to work with. Plus, one of the biggest frustrations we heard was from people trying to use poorly made generic business plan templates, and then guess the numbers.

Do I need to use these tools in order?
No. Every tool works on its own with manual entry. But if you start with the Floor Plan Tool, its numbers carry across automatically to the Holds, Equipment Cost, and Startup Cost calculators, so you're not re-entering the same figures repeatedly.
Are these tools really free?
Yes. Every tool is free to use, with no sign-up required. The only thing we ask for is your name and email if you want the compiled business plan document at the end.
Is this a substitute for a real business plan?
No. These tools give you a strong, real-numbers draft, but a full business plan for a lender or investor typically needs more: market research, formal financials, and an executive summary. Use them as your starting point, then talk to us about the rest.
What if I don't have my building or numbers yet?
That's fine. Every field in every tool can be entered manually or estimated. Use them to test whether a prospective space or idea could even work before you commit to anything.
