What flooring or safety matting is required for the climbing wall?

You’ll need appropriate safety matting beneath the climbing wall, similar to what you’d use in any commercial climbing or training setup. Crash mats are acceptible, however make sure you have enough coverage to account for the entire fall zone

We recommend using certified climbing mats or high-density crash pads designed to absorb falls, especially when the wall is set at steeper angles. If you need custom matting for you wall, let us know and we can help.

The exact setup depends on your use case. A commercial gym will typically install full coverage flooring systems, while a home setup might use modular crash pads.

Because the wall is freestanding, you have flexibility in how you configure your flooring. There are no fixed anchors or obstructions to work around, so you can design your landing zone to suit your space.
