What hardware is used (bolt types, screw placements)?

We use M10 bolts with 10-gauge screw placements, with all hardware pre-installed and positioned to prevent spinning.

For large fibreglass macros, hardware placement is critical. Unlike small holds, macros generate more leverage and torque, so relying on a single bolt is not enough. That’s why we integrate multiple screw placements alongside the main M10 bolt to lock the hold into position securely.

We also reinforce all fixing zones with additional fibreglass layers and install metal inserts to ensure long-term durability under repeated loading.

Everything is pre-installed before shipping, so you’re not dealing with retrofitting hardware on arrival. This reduces installation time and ensures consistency across your entire set.

If you’re designing custom shapes or layouts, we can adjust fixing positions to suit your wall or system board setup. You can explore more about how this integrates into production on our Hold Manufacturing Process
