What angle range can the climbing wall be set to?
Our freestanding adjustable climbing walls can be adjusted from −5° (slab) up to 70° overhang, covering the full range of modern climbing training or system board requirements.
At the lower end, −5° allows for slab-style climbing, which is useful for balance, footwork, and technical movement. As the angle gets steeper, the wall progressively shifts toward strength, power, and contact-based climbing.
This range is specifically designed to accommodate a large array of climbing need, supporting climbers that want exposure to technical balance problems, to dynamic positions, tension-based climbing, and coordination moves. It also aligns with standard angles used by system boards such as Kilter, Moon, and Tension boards.
From a practical standpoint, having a single wall that spans this entire range removes the need for multiple fixed-angle walls, reducing both space requirements and capital cost.
The adjustability also allows gyms and training facilities to program sessions more effectively, changing angles to match training cycles or user ability levels without modifying the physical structure.
